Mystery project adds Grace Gummer
As reported DeadlineMeryl Streep’s daughter Grace Gummer (The Post) has joined the upcoming untitled Apple TV thriller series to star alongside Dakota Fanning. The show’s confirmed cast so far includes Stellan Skarsgård (Dune) and Daryl McCormack (Twisters).
Interestingly, Fanning will star alongside her sister Elle Fanning, who recently starred in the first season of the series. Margo has money problemsalso on Apple TV. Other co-producers include Brittany Kahan Ward (Great), Julie Gardner (The Lady in the Lake) and Kari Skogland (Fog), who will also direct.
according to Apple TV“Fanning will star as an undercover treasury agent in a multibillion-dollar international conglomerate with world-changing political and criminal tentacles, conflicted between her mission and her belief that her main target, the heir to all this corrupt power, is essentially a good person and worthy of her love.”
Deadline “Gummer will play Juliana, the eldest child of Stellan Skarsgård’s Brant, who is the head of a conglomerate.”
This untitled thriller series is the latest collaboration between Apple TV and Sony Pictures Television. For All Humanity, Star City, Black Bird, Afterparty, Platonic, To manyand Dark Matter.
Additional cast members or a premiere date have not been announced, although the title of the series is expected to be announced soon.
