Today (June 18), Ultrahuman announced what’s next for its health platform, and it’s all about redefining what metabolic health really means to users.
In a press release, Ultrahuman shared its thoughts on the M2 Live: Abbott’s continuous glucose monitor (CGM) from Lingo. This integration makes Abbott’s over-the-counter monitor available to even more people in the US through M2 Live. CGM is nothing new to the Ultrahuman platform; however, where M2 Live is leading us is said to be “one of the most affordable portable metabolic health platforms in the US.”
M2 Live will feed your data directly into the metabolic health engine of the Ultrahuman app. This will include sleep, stress, activity and recovery to help describe how your body regulates glucose levels. Ultrahuman combines health markers and blood biomarkers to help users understand why their glucose may be elevated.
Plus, the data from Abbott’s Lingo is said to give users a neat bow to the whole situation. These data will bring the storied history of five years of research, healthcare institution partnerships, and millions of recorded meals.
Behind the scenes, Ultrahuman says its AI assistant Jade will use its biointelligence to correlate changing glucose patterns (if any) with your logged sleep, HRV, and more. Your smart ring. Your metabolic score, which ranges from 0-100, reflects your glucose regulation. Since food can affect this, the app will suggest a “Food Score”.
It’s through this that Ultrahuman says it can show users how certain foods they eat affect their glucose. The “Fueling Score” shows how your levels may affect your performance, focusing more on your fitness/exercises.
Take your health seriously
While the M2 Live announcement was made today (June 18), the article says the feature will be officially launched in the US “in the coming weeks.” Ultrahuman.com. The Singular Lingo biosensor can be purchased for $129 (with a monthly subscription of $99). Users should be aware that these sensors can only be used for up to 14 days. Lingo suggests in more detail about its sensors and complete safety instructions for its users.

Something like this would probably get the attention of those who really need it and should take this kind of management absolutely seriously. From my POV, I think it could really help people who have to watch their glucose more seriously than others. I have a family to take care of this kind of thing. They have their own style of management, which of course has been going on for years. Either way, glucose spikes can be dangerous, and it looks like Ultrahuman wants to try and help.
