Crimson Desert is “unforgettable”
What developer Pearl Abyss set out to accomplish with Crimson Desert is nothing short of ambitious – a massive open-world action-adventure experience that has everything from intense and skillful battle sequences and boss battles to rich and varied side quests to magical, deeply rewarding secrets to discover.
Indeed, it is marketed as the game of your dreams, a final fantasy adventure that will leave you drowning in fun content as you roam the rich and vibrant world of Pywel. It sounds too good to be true…and if Crimson Desert’s reviews are anything to go by, at least in some ways it is. In others, it fully delivers on its potential.

Its combat, exploration, and discoveries to be found in the open world have been praised, although the main story and its many side quests have been criticized for poor structure and bland objectives.
