I love the Google Pixel 10a for the camera quality it delivers, but I’ll freely admit that the official $499 price tag is a bargain for the overheated 9a. Thankfully, that’s not a problem at the moment – Amazon is selling the Pixel 10a $100 off It makes justifying this budget phone very easy during Prime Day 2026.

That brings the 10a’s base price down to $399, and you’ll see a similar $100 discount on the black (Obsidian) 256GB model. Amazon charges about $22 more for the other 256GB colors, though it’s still a good deal.

Punches well above its weight
The Pixel 10a is the definition of a minor hardware update. Compared to the 9a, it has slimmer bezels, tougher glass, a brighter 6.3-inch display, a refined rear camera module, slightly faster charging, and instant satellite service. You still get the same Tensor G4 chip, camera lineup (48MP main, 13MP ultra-wide, 13MP selfie) and 5100mAh battery.
With a starting price of $399, this makes the phone a top performer in its price class for mobile photography. Thanks to Google’s processing, photos are vivid and sharp in most conditions, and you get most AI features like Best Take (for the best faces in group shots) and Magic Eraser (to get rid of photobombers).
The Tensor G4 is very fast at this price point, and the exceptional battery life (I didn’t run out in a day) makes the 10a ideal for long photo excursions with my family. I also appreciate getting Google’s latest software as soon as possible — I was right for it Android 17 you can’t say that for some phones that cost two or three times as much from day one.
You’re missing out on Google’s most advanced in-device AI (no Gemini intelligence here) thanks to 8 GB of RAM. And if you need more performance, it’s better to buy either Pixel 10 Pro or anticipates the possibility Pixel 11 series later this summer. At $399, though, it’s hard to beat the Pixel 10a for everyday shooting.
