Sharpen your knives one last time and head back to the kitchen for FX Bear season 5premieres tonight on Hulu. All eight episodes will air at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
It’s a sad moment for fans because it’s the final season Bear. Last month, FX announced that season 5 would be the show’s final season.

Bear season 5 will deal with Carmi’s devastating decision
Carmy says goodbye
Bear Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, played by Jeremy Allen White, revolves around him. In season 1, Carmi, a talented chef in New York, returns to Chicago to run her recently deceased brother’s Italian beef restaurant. The series evolved into an ensemble drama as Carmy and his crew transformed a beef shop into a fine dining restaurant.
In the season 4 finale, Carmy made the surprising decision to leave the food industry, leaving the restaurant in the hands of Syd, Richie, and Sugar. Season 5 picks up the morning after Carmy’s polarizing choice. The Official season 5 recap reads:
“Free, without the threat of a sale or a blizzard, the new partners must team up with the rest of the team to achieve one last serve in hopes of finally earning a Michelin star. Ultimately, they learn that it may not be the food that makes a restaurant ‘perfect’, but the people.”

Bear created by Christopher Storer, who also serves as executive producer, writer and director. FX Productions is producing Bearwhich Streams on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
Bear Season 1 is slated to premiere in June 2022. The first season won 10 Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series and acting wins for White, Moss-Bachrach and Edebiri. Season 2 topped the first season’s Emmy wins by 11. Unlike some of its contemporaries who release new seasons every year, Bear Since 2022, new episodes have premiered every June.
In May last year Bear aired a special flashback episode Moss-Bachrach stars as Richie, and Jon Bernthal stars as Carmi’s older brother, Mikey. titled Garythe episode follows Richie and Mikey on a special business trip to Gary, Indiana. The bonus episode is now streaming on Hulu.
