I run 5K with these sports headphones that stay in place all the time, and they’re $70 less than what I paid

I became a Powerbeats user with the Powerbeats2 Wireless – they came out 12 years ago – and I have used all the models that have been released since then. The Powerbeats Pro 2 are the most spacious workout headphones ever, and I got two pairs of Nike collab for me and my sister for $250 each.

I don’t regret spending so much money on them, but I’m glad to let you know that you can get them for $70 off during Amazon Prime Day. For just $180, these sporty headphones pack a ton of features. They share internal data with AirPods Pro 2 and others AirPods Pro 3but it works just as well on iOS as it does on Android.

I’ve logged thousands of miles with Powerbeats in my ears, and they’re the only thing I recommend for fitness enthusiasts as summer kicks off.

✅ Recommended if: you need a pair headphones for training with secure fit and ear hooks for stability; You want headphones that can easily move between iOS and Android; you appreciate the controls on the headset, such as playback and volume buttons.

❌ Skip this deal if: Don’t like the bulky design of the Powerbeats Pro 2; you want headphones with a smaller charging case.

The feature that always sells me on Powerbeats are the included ear hooks. These wrap around your ear and even allow the ear tips to slide out Powerbeats Pro 2 it will not fall out of your ear. Another great feature is the physical volume rocker and play/pause button. No one wants to wrestle with gesture controls in the gym or on the track with sweaty hands.

With the Powerbeats Pro 2, I don’t have to. Both the left and right earcups have physical buttons, so I can wear just one without missing out on functionality. This is great for safety as I am aware of my surroundings while running. Since the headphones support ANC and transparency mode, I can also use the latter to maintain awareness while exercising.

Beats is owned by Apple, but it’s worth noting that the Powerbeats Pro 2 works just as well on Android as it does on iOS. They get a companion app on Android and every feature is available on both platforms. In fact, if you’ve always wanted AirPods but need better Android support, there are headphones to get them. The Powerbeats Pro 2 shares the same Apple H2 chip as the AirPods Pro 2.

And the Powerbeats Pro 2 has the same optical heart rate monitor as the AirPods Pro 3. That’s right — you can pair these earbuds with your Android phone to track your heart rate during a workout without the need for a smartwatch or chest strap.

Obviously, they were built from the ground up with the fitness enthusiast in mind, and that’s why I love them as a runner. At $180, they’re a no-brainer if you like to exercise.
