Pixel Camera 10.4 is now rolling out more widely Via the Google Play Store as a minor update.
We don’t see any user-related changes or new features in this release. with Android June 17 updateGoogle has listed three camera fixes:
- Fix a camera stability issue that caused the system to crash under certain conditions: Pixel 9-10a
- Fix an issue that caused the camera app to freeze when changing zoom levels while recording video: Pixel 10-10a
- Fix an issue that caused the camera service to crash intermittently and affect overall system stability: Pixel 6-10a
With the next big opportunity for innovation coming after the Pixel 11 launch, this isn’t particularly surprising. We have one Material 3 Expressive redesign Pixel Camera (version 10.1) last October, so no further visual updates are expected. That said, if Google makes any changes, it will debut on 2026 phones.
Any changes and new features for existing devices will come with the next Pixel Drop expected in September.
It started rolling out with the Camera 10.4 update June 2026 Pixel Drop and is starting to see wider availability today. However, it is not yet fully released.
