“As American as baseball and apple pie” is a popular phrase to describe a cultural icon in the United States. I strongly believe that hot dog should be added to that word. What’s more American than a 4th of July hot dog eating contest? The world’s best competitive eaters flock to New York’s Coney Island for the annual Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest.
The women’s race begins in the morning, with Miki Sudo looking for her 12th title. The biggest name for men is Joey “Jaws” Chestnut. It is difficult to find a more dominant athlete than Shabalid, who is looking to win his 18th title. We hope you don’t get mad watching other people eat because these people will be gobbling up hot dogs at a ridiculous rate.

Michel Buteau says goodbye to his show, Survival of the Fittest. The comedy-drama recently released its third and final season on Netflix, marking the end of the series. Buteau Tudum said that season 3 “we’re going to live, live loud, shut up and let it loose, honey!” Based on early reactions, Buteau kept his word.
As season 2 comes to a close, Mavis Beaumont (Buteau) finds herself at a career crossroads after a public feud with a designer. In season 3, Mavis tries to build her own brand and promote the idea that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. As for her personal life, Mavis is still looking for that happy ending. Maybe it will come with Luca (Marouane Zotti).

In fact, it might be a better option in the long run, but we’ll decide until it goes live.

Reese Witherspoon’s iconic character is getting the prequel treatment
In 2001, Reese Witherspoon introduced the world to Elle Woods, a blonde sorority princess who entered Harvard Law School to win back her boyfriend. However, he eventually develops a passion for the law. Much to everyone’s surprise, Elle excelled at Harvard and gave her graduation speech. Instead of following Elle in the future, the story goes back in time for Prime Video’s prequel series.
In hand, we meet the main character (Lexi Minetree) as a high school student in 1990s Beverly Hills. But Ellen’s father moves their family from California to Washington, forcing the teenager to attend a new school in Seattle. Just like in the movie, Elle is a fish out of water and must learn to adapt to her new environment. Don’t worry, you’ll see Bruiser next to him.

Silo season 3
It’s time to figure out why society is going undercover
as Silo fan, I’ve always had two questions: Can people go outside and why did society move underground? The first question has been partially answered. Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) survived outside because she had the right heat tape for her hazmat suit. So, technically, you can go out with proper protective gear.
As for why society moved underground, I hope to get more answers Silo season 3 exploring the past and present. In the present, Juliet returns to her silo with memory loss as a new threat emerges. I am particularly interested in the past or ‘Before Time’. This storyline was teased at the end of season 2 – journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zuckerman) uncover a conspiracy that will change the world. Silo remains an underrated Apple TV gem.
