Fitbit Public Preview comes to more countries, adds VO2 Max and US health logs


After adding access to water and foodas well as commissioning free usersFitbit is in Public Preview it’s coming now to more countries.

The personal health coach and the redesigned app are coming to the following 37 new countries:


Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Tavan.


Additionally, it now supports 27 new languages:

Brazil Portuguese, Canada French, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin America Spanish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Chinese and Slovenian.


In terms of new features, Fitbit is bringing VO2 Max (formerly Cardio Fitness Score) to the Public Preview app. It will appear on the Fitness tab under Basic metrics.
