Former Microsoft Xbox boss says he thinks Phil Spencer is “doing a great job” and believes new CEO Asha Sharma has “a way out” – “I’m very optimistic”.


One of the biggest shakeups in Microsoft’s Xbox leadership happened in February of this year. Phil Spencer is retiring after 38 years with the company and serves as the head of 12 brands. He was replaced by the new CEO of Xbox Asha Sharmapreviously served as President of CoreAI Product. With the history of Sharma AI Ish immediately feared that the community would be flooded with Xbox AI even though he came under his wing when he was appointed he promised that this would not happenas well as my colleague and Windows Central executive editor Jez Corden he wrotehis expertise in integrating useful features and building social systems will greatly benefit Xbox.
