Here’s Alicia Keys at Apple Grand Central for the 50th Anniversary Experience (Gallery)

Apple held an impromptu today 50th anniversary holiday in its place Grand Central Storewith renowned artist Alicia Keys. This is the first of many events to come around the world, and Apple Grand Central was just the beginning! I had the honor of attending the performance and will share all my photos here.

First of all, I have to say that this was one of the best events I have ever been invited to. The show itself was incredible, but the impromptu nature of it all also made it a pretty compelling moment. We didn’t know anything about it until yesterday Parker Ortolani shared on Twitter the store will be closed some kind of event.

Apple CEO Tim Cook was also in attendance, along with hardware VP John Ternus, SVP of marketing Greg Joswiak and SVP of retail sales Deirdre O’Brien.

All in all, it’s a great idea to celebrate Apple’s 50th anniversary, and I can’t wait to see what happens next! Some of my photos are below for you to check out 9to5Mac on Twitter for some videos.
