Saddle up boys and girls because Yellowstone universe is expanding once again with a new spin-off that acts as a direct sequel to the mothership series. It will follow Dutton matriarch Beth (Kelly Reilly) and her husband Rip (Cole Hauser) as they embark on a new journey together at their new ranch outside Montana.

Expect to see Oscar nominees in the lead roles
Joining Reilly, Hauser and Little in reprising their roles is an all-new cast, some of which include big names. Oscar nominees Ed Harris and Annette Bening will star. Harris will play Everett McKinney, an “accomplished veteran and vet,” and Bening will play Beulah Jackson, “the powerful, scheming, and charming head of a large ranch in Texas.” Deadline.
Other new additions include Jai Courtney (Suicide Squad) Rob-Will as Juan Pablo Raba (Delirium) as Joaquin, JR Villarreal (Black Scorpion) Azul as Jessica Belkin (Pretty Little Liars) as Cassie, Iman Crosson (Wonder Man) as Ethan Till, James Eddie (The meanest man in Texas) as Tommy, Brittany Hoffner (Good morning) as Frankie-Mae, Marc Menchaca (Homeland) “a newly released jailbird trying to rebuild his life as a fighter and cowboy” by Zachariah and Natalie Elin Lind (The Goldbergs) as Oreana, who appears to be Carter’s new girlfriend. Paramount also announced that “Wilder Days” country singer Morgan Wade will also appear in the first season in a recurring role as popular bartender Carol.
Until we see another Yellowstone characters appear in the spin-off, well, we don’t know yet. Given the show’s structure, it’s possible that Jimmy (Jefferson White) is visiting because he works at The Four Sixes Ranch in this way, but that’s not confirmed. It’s likely, though less likely, that Beth’s brother Kayce (Luke Grimes) could make a break for it. His job as a US Marshal to look after his family.
