The last time we discussed new shows coming to air, we talked Bear spin-off episode along with the latest adaptation of Lord of the Flies. While these shows have their moments, this week’s series has more star power and mainstream appeal for a wider audience.
The number one show to watch this week is voiced by Paramount+’s most prolific creator, Taylor Sheridan, who produced this spin-off. Other top shows include Prime Video’s answer Fierce Competition and a special television set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Nemesis
Another fight between the criminal and the police
After watching NemesisI immediately thought, “This is Netflix’s version Heat?” By the way, I don’t mean that as an insult. I adore the movie heat, so if a creator wants to make a streaming version of Michael Mann’s masterpiece, I’m all for it. Nemesis Greetings from creator Courtney A. Kemp Power For Starz.
Nemesis is a story about two men on opposite sides of the law. Detective Isaiah Stiles (Matthew Law) is a great cop who knows how to put bad guys behind bars. Coltrane Wilder (Y’lan Noel) is a prolific thief who constantly evades the authorities. He lives by a code that sounds very similar to the characteristics of both men Heat Neil McCauley and Vincent Hanna. Again, not knocking Nemesis to be inspired Heat. I’m all for stories about two alphas who will do whatever it takes to win.
Nemesis does now streaming on Netflix.

Rivals season 2
The struggle for the supremacy of televisions continues
Competitors It doesn’t go all the way back to the Regency era, but the show travels back to the 1980s for this dramatic comedy. Rivals of the show Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell) and Lord Tony Baddingham (David Tennant). It’s 1986 and Tony is managing director of independent station Corinium Television. Tony wants Corinium to become a dominant force in Central South West Television, while Rupert hopes the newly funded Venturer can be top dog.

Competitors it’s not just about two men and their quest for power. It’s all the more scandalous and sexy thanks to sly romantic twists. Competitors is a cross between class politics Downton Abbey and sexual promiscuity Bridgerton. It sounds like a wild combination, but it works.

Punisher: One last kill
Frank Castle is out for blood
What a year it’s been for Jon Bernthal. The actor starred in Netflix His and Hers and Garythe latter is a spin-off episode Bear. He will soon be seen in two July movies: Odyssey and Spider-Man: The New Day. when talking about spider man, Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, the ruthless vigilante known as the Punisher. First Marvel moviesBernthal starred Punisher: One last killTV special on Disney+.
Think One last kill as a bridge between Daredevil: Reborn and Spider-Man: The New Day. Privately, Castle considers giving up his life of revenge. But this character is not yet ready for peace, and it is very difficult to resist his urge to return to battle. What I like about Punisher is the boldness – the dark themes are intense, but it’s a nice change from the family fare of the MCU. Plus, the special is about 50 minutes long, so it’s easy to enjoy in one sitting.

Off campus
Prime Video’s answer to the fierce competition?
Two people from opposite backgrounds form a relationship against the background of hockey. No, I’m not talking Fierce Competition. Instead, I’m describing Prime Video’s new romance series off campus, Based on the novels by Elle Kennedy. Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) is a musician at Briar University. Garrett Graham (Belmont Camel) is a popular student and stud hockey player at Briar. These two complete opposites agree to a deal – Garrett will pretend to meet Hanna to impress his girlfriend, and Hanna will teach Garrett a philosophy lesson in order to keep his place on the team.
It’s clear that the “fake relationship” leads to real feelings between Hannah and Garrett. Read early reviews, Off campus will satisfy viewers looking for a teen soap opera with melodrama and romance. I’m not sure it will reach the top Fierce Competitionbut it can definitely fill a hockey-pitch-sized hole in your watchlist.
Off campus does now streaming on Prime Video.

Dutton Ranch
Beth and Rip take Texas
Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) are back on my TV. About 17 months have passed since then Yellowstone’s sequel, and two of the show’s main characters return for the spin-off Dutton Ranch. Yellowstone has become one of the most popular shows on television, so naturally the next step is a spin-off.
Beth and Rip left their Yellowstone ranch for South Texas. They quickly learn that wherever they go, drama will inevitably follow. I hesitate to say Dutton Ranch does Yellowstone 2however, I feel the same themes and feelings carry over from the flagship show to the spin-off. This is a great thing for the fans Yellowstone and The Sheridan Empire on Paramount+. Let’s see Dutton Ranch can win Yellowstone deadly.
The first two episodes Dutton Ranch Premiering on Paramount+ on May 15.
