After several disturbing candidates released, Linus released the Linux 7.0 kernel a few days ago. While the preview build seemed to have more bug fixes than usual, Linus felt the changes were small enough not to cause a delay. He also believes that the increase in fixes is due to AI assistants getting better at finding problems in the code, which is plausible.
If you want to try Linux 7.0, CachyOS is one of the first distros to make it available. Not only that, but the CachyOS team also managed to squeeze in a few fixes from 7.1.

However, the Linux 7.0 version of CachyOS has several fixes from 7.1. For example, owners of an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 will find that the OS will enable Intel FRED by default, which should improve performance. The developers also mention a “new NTFS drive”. dual booting Windows and Linux is less of a headache and increase data transfer rates between two drives.
