Acer introduced the Swift Spin 14 AI with Snapdragon X2 processors and the new Aspire Go 15

Acer has expanded its Windows laptop portfolio with two new Snapdragon-powered models: the premium Swift Spin 14 AI convertible and the more affordable Aspire Go 15. The two devices target different segments of the market, with the Swift focusing on portability and in-device AI performance, while the Aspire Go 15 is targeted at everyday releases.

The Acer Swift Spin 14 AI (SFSP14-Q51T) will be available in EMEA from July 2026. Exact regional pricing and configurations have not been announced, with availability in the UAE and Saudi Arabia not confirmed separately.

Availability details for the Aspire Go 15 (AG15-Q31P) will be announced at a later date. Acer also hasn’t revealed pricing for the entry-level model.

Acer Swift Spin 14 AI brings the power of Snapdragon X2 to a convertible design

The Swift Spin 14 AI can be configured with either a Snapdragon X2 Elite or Snapdragon X2 Plus processor, featuring a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU rated at 80 TOPS by bot requests. Acer is positioning the laptop as a Copilot+ PC for users who need a lightweight productivity device that supports in-device AI features.

The notebook uses a 360-degree hinge that allows it to switch between traditional notebook layouts, presentation modes and a tablet-style form factor. It features a 14-inch WUXGA IPS touchscreen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage.

Acer also includes the Active Stylus 420 with the laptop. The pen uses the Wacom AES 2.0 protocol, supports 4096 pressure levels, and includes tilt detection for shading. It can be stored in the laptop’s integrated stylus garage, with Acer claiming that a 30-second charge provides up to 100 minutes of use.

The Swift Spin 14 AI is available with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. The integrated Adreno GPU supports DirectX 12.2 features, including hardware-accelerated ray tracing. The laptop can also drive up to three external 4K monitors, making it more practical for desk-based productivity setups despite its compact design.

Acer rates the 65Wh battery for up to 23 hours of video playback or up to 16.5 hours of web browsing, depending on configuration and usage conditions. Charging is done through a USB-C port that supports a 100W power adapter.

The cabriolet weighs 1.34kg and is 15.9mm to 16.5mm thick. It comes with a cobalt blue aluminum chassis and is MIL-STD-810H certified.

Connectivity includes two USB-C ports with USB4 support, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and Bluetooth LE Audio.

For video calling, the Swift Spin 14 AI includes a 5MP IR camera with Windows Hello support, a privacy cover, and Acer’s PurifiedView features. Sound is handled by dual speakers, three microphones, and Acer PurifiedVoice noise cancellation, along with DTS:X Ultra and Snapdragon Sound support.

As a Copilot+ PC, the laptop supports Windows 11 AI features such as Click To Do, although feature availability may vary depending on market, language and software updates. Acer has also included AcerSense software and a My Key shortcut that can be programmed to launch selected applications, websites or Windows functions.

Acer Aspire Go 15 Introduces New Snapdragon C Platform

The Aspire Go 15 is designed for buyers looking for a simpler and more affordable laptop. Acer says it is the first PC maker to announce a device powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon C processor.

The laptop has a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and narrow bezels. It can be configured with up to 8GB of storage and up to 512GB of storage, placing it firmly in the entry-level segment.

Acer hasn’t provided specific performance or battery life estimates for the Aspire Go 15, but the laptop has a 53Wh battery and is designed to run without the need for an active cooling fan. Connectivity includes two full-featured USB-C ports, a USB Type-A port, HDMI 1.4, 3.5mm audio input, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 or later.

The Aspire Go 15 also includes a 1080p webcam, dual speakers, a Copilot button, AcerSense software, and a programmable Acer My Key shortcut.

Acer says the laptop is packaged with 100% recyclable materials. Its back cover uses 30% post-consumer recycled plastic, and the power adapter uses 50%. The company also says the model meets Energy Star certification and EPEAT registration requirements, although EPEAT status may vary by country.

The Swift Spin 14 AI will arrive in EMEA in July 2026, while Acer has yet to confirm when the Aspire Go 15 will be available. Pricing and market-specific configurations for both laptops will be announced separately.
