Actually seats that work for families
The Acadia rides on GM’s three-row C1 platform Chevrolet Traverse and the higher-end Buick Enclave. It can get a little lost in the lineup, but there’s still plenty here for a full-size family hauler.
Up front, it’s comfortable and simple, with bench seats standard in the second and third rows. That means there’s room for eight passengers if you want to slide in, and seven passengers if you opt for AT4 or Denali trims with second-row captain’s chairs.

Strong security, middle-of-the-road reliability
How it stacks up where it matters most
In terms of safety, the 2026 Acadia is strong with a full five-star overall rating. NHTSA. That score includes top scores in frontal and side crash tests, as well as a solid four-star rating for roll resistance.

Is it worth it?
