Android 17 brings a bit of Pixel Watch whimsy to the notification shade

With the Android 17 update, which is now in the latest beta version, Google is moving a notification from the Pixel Watch to the notification shade on Pixel phones.

Swipe through all of your notifications on your Pixel Watch to “All in the know!” resulting in the message The message contains a small cup icon. It’s a fun way to say you’re done with notifications.

Now it’s coming to Pixel phones.

In Android 17 Beta 4, Google replaced the long-standing “No notification” message with the same “You’re all aware!” message found on Pixel Watch. The change is subtle, but it’s a fun little tweak that feels good in the company’s ecosystem. It remains to be seen if other Android devices will do the same, but it’s pretty safe that this is a Pixel-only tweak.
