If you haven’t been able to use Apple Cash for the past few hours, you’re not alone, as the service is currently experiencing an outage that’s affecting some users in the US.
Apple Cash has experienced two outages
Apple’s System Status page says Apple Cash It has been experiencing an ongoing issue since 6:11 PM ET, with some users being “affected” who are “unable to shop” using the service.
Interestingly, the second last issue was marked as resolved and lasted only 15 minutes from 7:45 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET. The issue description also says that “some users are affected,” but more broadly states that “some users are ‘unable to use Apple Cash’ rather than unable to make purchases.”
A quick search on X reveals that several users are affected by the problem.
Meanwhile, reports of Apple Cash outages on DownDetector are trending downward, which may be linked to a separate issue that Apple has already marked as fixed.
