The second season finale Daredevil: Reborn it’s almost upon us. Heck, it might already be here when you see this article. But with the last piece of the puzzle upcoming Marvel Studios has released an incredibly interesting clip teasing something we didn’t expect.
We left the show for the last timeMatt Murdock (Charlie Cox) has returned to the public eye as one of the defenders of his girlfriend Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll). His sudden reappearance comes as a shock to Mayor Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force, resulting in the group attempting to kill Matt as he leaves the courthouse.
Well, in this new clip, Matt is still alive and he has Fisk on the witness stand. Let the fireworks begin. We’ll drop the clip from there.
So Matt and Fisk have established that Daredevil was on the ship that sank earlier in the season. Only Daredevil can’t testify. This would compromise Matt’s secret identity. But a line in the clip like, “You and I both know who Daredevil is,” certainly suggests that Matt can do the unthinkable. He could hide himself.
It’s the season finale Daredevil: Reborn another “I’m Iron Man” moment in season two? It seems like a suggestion, but we can’t figure out what it means. Daredevil has done a lot of bad things.
Everything we’ve heard about the season finale is that it’s not only the best episode of the season, but one of Marvel TV’s best ever. We’ll find out when the episode drops on May 5th at 9pm ET, and we’ll have more later this week.
