If you’re someone who doesn’t like all the things Brave adds, you can now download Brave Origin. Oh, but you have to pay $60 to buy it.

This is a one time purchase though
As reported Digital TrendsA brave team did A series of posts on X explains the new plan. The company released it in response to people asking for a more refined browser Brave origin with an iOS release for desktop and Android.
Brave Origin’s main feature isn’t what it adds, but what it takes out; email aliases, Leo AI, VPN tool, Brave Wallet app and Speedreader to name a few. You can either download a browser with all the disabilities, or you can upgrade your Brave browser with a panel that allows you to change which ones you keep.
The good news is that Brave allows people to use Origin for free when they’re on Linux. The bad news is that if you’re not on Team Tux, you’ll have to pay $60 for Brave Origin. Granted, you only need to buy it once and you’ll get unlimited activation on all your devices, but it’s still a bitter pill to swallow if you don’t want the features in the first place. In fact, it could be argued that a resizable feature panel should have been added on day one.
If you want to download Brave Origin, you can get it Brave Premium website. If you want to upgrade your Brave browser to include the Brave Origin panel, go to “brave://settings/system”, find Brave Origin and pay for it. Then click “Refresh Origin” and you’ll see all the features you can turn on and off.
