Bungie’s future looks increasingly bleak as Marathon’s player base crumbles and concerns grow around the direction of the studio’s live service.

It’s hard to put my feelings into words Bungie now. As a lifelong Halo fan, the studio will always have a special place in my heart, but the way it’s run since leaving Xbox has been less than ideal, and quite frankly, devastating to watch as a fan.

For those out of the loop, Bungie recently shifted its focus from Destiny in favor of Marathon. Unfortunately, this decision has no effect. Marathon recently peaked at nearly 6,000 concurrent players on Steamwhile Fate 2 almost reached 60,000 during the same period, About 10 times more than a marathon.

It’s also worth noting that Marathon isn’t even among Gears of War 2 and Xbox’s top 100 games. Fairy tale 3, both Xbox 360 games.

Don’t worry, Destiny fans; Bungie has a solution. It adds up limited-time PvE mode for Marathon for two weeks only. I’m sure it will go well. In all seriousness, I don’t want to make fun of Bungie too much. what happened to the studio especially after the recent layoffsreally sad to see.
