We’re a few months away from the launch of the Galaxy S27 series, but leaks are pouring in at the same time. We heard this recently all four S27 models May have Samsung’s Privacy Screen. Now, a new leak suggests that the Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra might get a camera update.
report from GalaxyClub claims that the Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra will finally get a new front-facing camera. Samsung has been using a 12MP lens for the front camera since the S23 Ultra. However, it is reported that Samsung is ready to replace the 12MP camera with a 16MP camera.
The outlet suggests that Samsung might go with a square sensor. This will allow the Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra to have functionality similar to Apple’s “center-stage” front-facing camera on the iPhone 17. It is not yet known whether Samsung will extend the same upgrade to the more affordable Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus.
Although the base model lacks the new front-facing camera, you won’t have to worry about screen quality. Moment leak before Samsung will likely continue to use in-house displays for the S27 instead of BOE’s cheaper technology.
