Early this morning (July 21), Garmin announced press release its first screen-free fitness band, CIRQA, is now available for $199. As we’ve already said, the CIRQA is screenless, and Garmin says it’s the device’s “distinctive design” that helps “minimize distractions while tracking important health and performance metrics.” The group will automatically detect and record multiple activities.
While the expected metrics (steps, calories burned, etc.) are recorded, Garmin says the CIRQA can track more than 80 activities, including running, walking and yoga. What’s more, users can “select their favorite activity to watch with the press of a side button.” Garmin empowers CIRQA team to manage “advanced training”. The group will help inform users when to push themselves or take a day off.
It will provide HRV status, VO2 Max and more of your training effectiveness. Understanding your recovery time is another aspect of group fitness assistance. For users out on runs or long walks, CIRQA supports GPS when connected to a compatible Android or iPhone.
