Gemini app that adds new Google Contacts integration

The Gemini app’s latest first-party integration is with Google Contacts to provide “personalized insights and responses based on your contacts.”

Available at Personal Intelligence > Connected Appsit allows Gemini to “find, add, edit, or delete” people in Google Contacts and “contact information from devices you’re signed in to.” In particular, it can be:

• Add new contacts or delete or modify your contacts
• Find contacts by name, number or email in your Google Contacts or on your device
• Get specific answers based on your connections
• Customize responses and offers based on your contacts when you refer them
• Remind you of important dates you have saved in your contacts, such as birthdays
• Share your contacts with other apps or other contacts when you ask
• Offer to save information to your contacts
• Offer to refer contacts or add them as VIPs

Add a contact

Update the contact

• Update Izumi H’s phone number to 800‑555‑0123.

Delete the contact

• Remove Charlie Z from my contacts.
• Delete Taylor’s contact information.
