Gemini is getting an expanded plus menu on Android

After last month’s major redesign, Google continues To fix the Gemini cover on Android and now expand the plus menu.

Previously, the Neural Expressive overlay only showed two available Tools: Images and Personal Intelligence.

It is now joined by Videos, Music, Canvas and Guided learning. Deep exploration is not available outside of the full application, as this Tool requires an extended query box for Sources and Files.

Above Screen, Photos, Camera, Files, Disk and Notebooks no change. That said, having the carousel at the top of the screen hurts one-handed use a bit.

Old and new

Overall, this tweak allows you to access most of the Gemini experience from anywhere on Android without opening the full app. This was already the case previous Gemini design earlier in the year, but it didn’t revamp the original Neural Expressive.

We see this change applied with the 17.32 stable version of the Google app.
