After that presentation on the internetAI Inbox is coming to Gmail for Android and iOS. In the navigation box, “AI Inbox” appears below the Inbox, just like it does on the desktop. A more notable access point is in Gmail’s bottom bar.
It appears between Gmail and Chat for a four-tab layout, with Meet rounding things out. It’s a pretty prominent way to access what Google envisions as your future inbox, where tasks take precedence over individual messages.
The actual interface is similar to the desktop web version. You get a greeting showing how many tasks and topics you have. The first section is “Suggested Jobs” and below that is “Topics You Can Work On”.
AI Inbox is currently in beta Google AI Ultra subscribers.
Meanwhile, Google making Help me write more personally when writing emails:
- Contextualizing the topic: This feature can now be connected to Google Drive and Gmail upon your request. It will then use the context of these apps to automatically insert relevant information into the email draft, reducing the time you spend switching between apps to find specific details.
- Customization of tone and style: Help Me Write can also now create customized email drafts that match the tone and style of your previously written emails.
This will help reduce “cross-Workspace application context switching to referencing, typing, copy-pasting, and formatting the correct resources.” On the business front, Google uses the following cases:

- Distribution of information, documents or materials to employees
- Reporting progress, milestones and project related issues to management
- Seek help or answers from the team
- Giving or asking for peer feedback
- Share team announcements or progress reports with the organization

- Make suggestions
