Google has completely rolled out new gradient Workspace icons on Android, iOS, and the web.
New icons have started to spread A day before I/O 2026 On May 18. This redesign arrived online first, with all Workspace apps on iOS updated by May 26.
So far, everything on Android has been required to be fully enabled: Gmail, Google Calendar, Tasks, Chat, Meet, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Keep, and Voice. There are also Google Forms, Sites, and Videos, but these services don’t have mobile apps.
On Android, Gmail Everything else saw wide availability a week ago. The email client retains its previous form, the status bar icon remains unchanged, but benefits from more red in the logo for visibility.
These icons are Google Search, Gemini, Google Home, Photos, Maps, Walletand Health.
Officiallythese logos reflect the Gemini era with a light gradient. Save for Gmail (which is the biggest service in the suite), the new icons don’t use all four Google colors. The driver is an exception with three different colors, everything else has one base color.
This change unifies each icon to have a unique shape after multiple logos from the previous set were placed into the same page-shaped container.
