If you’re having trouble keeping the Google Play Store open on your smartwatch yesterday, you’re far from the only one. Many Pixel Watch owners, as well as some Galaxy Watch owners, have reported experiencing the same issues. The good news is that you shouldn’t have any problems with Google Marketplace today.
To quickly recap what happened, Pixel and Galaxy Watch users ran into a bug that caused an influx. Let the Play Store crash on wrist-mounted devices. This varies from closing the app immediately to opening the app but closing as soon as the user tries to swipe. As a result of the problem, users are unable to update their applications, download new ones, etc.
Most of the reports were from Pixel Watch 2, 3 and 4 owners. However, there were also reports from Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Watch 7 owners.
in a comment sent to Android AuthorityA Google spokesperson confirmed that there is a bug affecting the Play Store. They also confirmed that the issue has been resolved for Pixel Watches. The spokesperson did not say whether the issue has been resolved for Galaxy Watches.
