Google Health Premium joins AI Pro with weekly email redesign

Along with the all-new mobile app launching today, Google Health joins Google AI Pro subscriptions.

Google Health Premium is now part of the Google AI Pro ($19.99/month) and Ultra plans. Otherwise it’s $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year.

Google Health Coach, powered by Gemini, is the main draw, but you also get a weekly “adaptive” fitness plan tailored to your goals. Other features include sleep and health metrics, an exercise library, and information about mindfulness sessions. One nice feature is being able to use Coach to record a meal as a conversation or photo.

Once this change is made, you’ll receive a “Google Health Premium is now included in Google One” email. Your previous plan and/or trial period will be cancelled. For Fitbit Air owners, you’re technically still in the three-month trial. There will be a separate email from Google Play detailing this change.

On a related note, the weekly progress report has been updated with a new design and Google Health branding: “Your weekly progress report from Google Health”.

Old and new

You still get a breakdown of daily step goal completion and week-to-week growth. There is no change in the included stats: floors, miles, calories, Active Zone Minutes, sleep, average step hours, resting heart rate and weight.

Finally, Google a blog post details “Coming Soon” future sharing opportunities:

  • Share your data with Apple Health
  • Share your medical records with your provider or family members using Smart Health Links
  • Explore and build your own data with tools like command-line interfaces (CLI) and other AI capabilities
