Last year, Google introduced a new level of subscription AI: AI Plus. AI Pro starts at $20 per month and AI Ultra now going for $100 or $200, AI Plus has arrived as a more affordable alternative. When came to the United States In January, you could sign up for just $8 a month. And now Google writings At X, it drops that to just $5.
Not only will you pay less for AI Plus access, but Google doubles the amount of cloud storage you get with it, increasing that 200GB to 400GB. That’s still nowhere near the AI Pro’s 5TB, but it’s more than enough space to store all your precious Nano Banana creations.
Users in other international markets should see local AI Plus subscription rates drop commensurately.
Google may be facing some growing pains with its subscription AI offerings right now, as users face more and more challenges. usage restrictions — and AI Plus has their lowest limits — but it’s still a pretty cool upgrade to get.
