The Pixel 11 series is still months away, but it looks like Google has already started working on the software for the next generation. Pixel phones behind the scenes, as the wallpapers for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold have now appeared in the Android 17 beta.
It’s only been a few days since the release of Google Latest Android 17 developer betabut while digging into the structure, the software engineer Dylan Roussel (via Android Authority) managed to pull up thumbnail previews of what are believed to be wallpapers for the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The developer shared two wallpapers included in the build: ‘Cinema: Tidal Swirl’ and ‘Midnight: Lunar Tides’. While Google may still change these before launch, they give us a rough idea of what to expect.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold wallpapers appear early
Google usually matches device colors with their respective wallpapers, and based on these, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could at least come in shades of green and black. Of course, it’s still early and things could change, but it’s an interesting early sign of Google’s direction.
It’s not unusual for brands to include assets like wallpapers in early Android builds, but it’s surprising that they’ve appeared so quickly, especially when the official launch is still months away.
As for the rest of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, previous leaks suggest Google may stick to a similar design compared to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold with only minor improvements, such as a slightly thinner build and subtle camera module changes.

Wallpaper leaks may not seem like a big deal, but they usually give us a clue about colors and general direction. I’m actually a bit disappointed that no blue wallpaper has appeared yet, especially since it could mean Google is moving away from the moonstone color – hopefully nothing is finalized so soon.
