Honor has opened UAE pre-orders for its latest flagship foldable smartphone, the Magic V6, ahead of its general release on June 26. The phone is priced at AED 6,999 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, while pre-order customers get free products and services worth up to $24.5 USD.
Those who pre-order the Magic V6 through the Honor online store or authorized UAE retailers will receive a free Honor Watch 5 Ultra along with Honor VIP Care+. The protection package includes 12 months screen protection, 12 months extended warranty and India, Pakistan and GCC warranty.
Thinner and lighter foldable
Honor Magic V6 measures 8.75mm when folded and 4mm when unfolded in White and weighs 219 grams. Those measurements are exclusive items like protective films and a raised camera module, but still make the V6 significantly closer to the size and weight of a regular flagship phone.
Honor equipped the device with a Super Steel Hinge tested for up to 500,000 folding cycles. The foldable device also carries IP69 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, while the internal display uses flexible ultra-thin glass that Honor says helps reduce the appearance of creases.
We have already spent time using the device and Our Honor Magic V6 review found it to be one of the more complete book-style foldables available. Its low weight, elegant hinge, less noticeable creases, strong battery life and polished MagicOS experience were among its strongest points.
6,660 mAh battery and a flagship device
Inside the Magic V6 is a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Honor describes as the largest battery ever installed in a foldable smartphone. It supports 80W wired and 66W wireless Honor SuperCharge with 25% silicon content, helping the battery offer greater capacity without significantly increasing the phone’s dimensions.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform and is designed to handle gaming, multitasking and split-screen productivity on two displays.
Its internal foldable display is 7.95 inches and its external display is 6.52 inches. The Fast Flex feature can automatically open compatible apps in split-screen mode when the device is folded or unfolded, allowing users to place an existing app next to services like Gemini or ChatGPT.
Honor is also including three months of Google AI Pro, and the announcement says the offer includes access to Gemini and 5TB of cloud storage.
For photography, the Magic V6 has a 64MP Ultra Sensing periscope telephoto camera with CIPA-rated 6.5-stop image stabilization. Honor did not provide specifications for the rest of the rear camera system in the pre-order announcement in the UAE.
Honor expands connectivity with Apple devices
The Magic V6 also extends Honor’s cross-device features beyond its own hardware ecosystem. According to the company, the phone can work with iPhones, Macs, AirPods and Apple Watches, while Honor Connect supports features such as file transfers, notification sharing and cross-device workflow.
This approach aims to reduce some of the friction for people who use Apple computers, portable devices or audio products but don’t want to move away from Android entirely.
UAE release date and promotional offers
The Honor Magic V6 is officially launched in the UAE on June 26. Customers who buy it during the first month of open sales will get gifts and services worth up to AED 1,547.
This bundle includes a free Honor Watch Fit, six months of screen protection, 12 months extended warranty and India, Pakistan and GCC warranty. The honorary pen will be sold separately for AED 349.
