Elizabeta Gjorgievska Joshevski’s career spans many continents and leadership roles, but her current focus reflects a consistent theme: understanding how technology translates into business results. as founder and CEO EverCognitivehe brings this perspective to the AI landscape, where many organizations are still figuring out the AI shift and how to put it into practice.
Originally from North Macedonia, Elizabeta began her career in programming and technology education, where she developed both technical expertise and early leadership experience. Those early roles, he says, were shaped by building relationships and expanding opportunities, ultimately connecting him to global technology ecosystems. He explains that that period shaped his understanding of how organizations take technology beyond theory and into real operations.
His move to Cisco was a turning point and opened the door to a 19-year global career that would take him from the Balkans to Vienna and then Dubai to lead multicultural EMEA teams. From his perspective, progress came from exposure to different markets and business challenges rather than a predetermined trajectory. He notes that working across regions requires constant adaptation, especially to align customer needs with evolving technology strategies.
In Vienna, he led telecommunications operations in Eastern Europe, managing teams that combined sales leadership with technical execution. He describes this stage as one that requires both operational discipline and strategic clarity. Elizabeth encourages Servant Leadership principles as a way to elevate the team to effectively engage with C-suite executives. This led him to lead global teams to achieve exceptional results.
His move to Dubai reflected a deliberate choice. Elizabeta explains that Dubai offers an environment where opportunities are closely linked to skills, creating space to continue to develop a leadership profile. He notes that the region’s pace of development and openness to innovation have shaped its approach to large-scale initiatives and organizational transformations.
Over time, his roles expanded to include overseeing enterprise-level operations in EMEA, where he was responsible for a portfolio of businesses. He explains that this level of responsibility requires coordination between global teams and alignment with product and strategy functions. According to Elizabeth, the experience has given her the ability to shape decisions made at the corporate level and manage implementation complexity at scale to accelerate growth across regions.
A gradual shift in perspective began during the 2013-2014 leadership program at Harvard. Elizabeta describes this period as a moment of reflection where she assessed her career and experiences both professionally and personally and planted the seeds for the next chapter. “I knew that my next challenge would be to absorb all the experience and great knowledge I had gained during my studies at Harvard. the owner company,“he says.
That idea took a backseat and began to grow as AI became front and center in every technology conversation. This, he explains, was the catalyst for his departure from the corporate world. It was during this time that he gained a deeper understanding of Generative AI, including completing a program at MIT in 2024 and learning how organizations can apply AI in their ongoing digital transformations. According to Elizabeth, she recognized the difference between her rapid development AI tools and market readiness for the introduction of AI, he saw his opportunity.
He states that “The starting point should always be a case study, to understand the customer and how their AI ambitions can be translated into operational reality and growth.“
EverCognitive It is based on this principle. The company operates as an AI transformation firm that works with organizations to assess organizational health, performance AI build and select AI solutions for readiness audits and mapping client business outcomes. Elizabeta explains that this includes executive advice, organizational assessments and frameworks designed to implement an architecture that operators can implement.
His approach reflects his experience working in large organizations. He notes that technology decisions are often shaped by leadership alignment, organizational structure and operational priorities. From his perspective, this is where many companies require guidance as they approach AI.
“Now, I’ve spent years working with companies trying to use AI.Elizabeth explains. My in-depth understanding of the digital transformation journeys different vertical markets take enables me to accelerate their AI transformation with confidence and tangible business results.“
Today, EverCognitive engages organizations on AI leadership and strategy, focusing on translating technological potential into measurable results. For Elizabeta, the emphasis remains on applying the experience to a space that is still developing.
Elizabeta argues that while AI will continue to evolve, the ability to lead its implementation will remain essential. Technology will continue to advance, but the way it is implemented within organizations will determine its real impact over time.
He states that “not a question if but when. In the age of the AI revolution, those who adopt quickly and smartly will not simply survive; they will win.”
