TL;DR
- The Pixel Watch 5 has been revealed on the Google Play Console, revealing the same Snapdragon W5 platform used by the recent Pixel Watches.
- The listing also hints at a RAM upgrade to help with the new features running with the Gemini.
- The accompanying image matches previously leaked renders and offers another look at Google’s upcoming smartwatch ahead of its expected August launch.
We already got our first look Pixel Watch 5 Via leaked renders that showcase Google’s upcoming smartwatch in four colors. We have also heard a rumors of a price increase for wearables. Now, a fresh, sort of “official” leak gives us a peek under the hood.
New Google Play Console listing, spotted by people here 9 to 5 Googlereveals key hardware details for the Pixel Watch 5 ahead of its expected debut alongside the Pixel 11 lineup next month.
According to the listing, the Pixel Watch 5 is powered by Qualcomm’s SW5100 platform, with four Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 1.7GHz and an Adreno 702 GPU. These specifications are virtually unchanged from the Pixel Watch 4 and even the Pixel Watch 2 before it, suggesting that Google is using the same processor for the fourth generation in a row.

That doesn’t necessarily mean nothing has changed. It’s an upgrade to last year’s Pixel Watch 4 Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 platform to support features like Satellite SOS, despite keeping the same CPU and GPU configuration. The Play Console listing doesn’t reveal the Pixel Watch 5’s co-processor, so it’s still possible that Google made some closed-loop improvements that aren’t reflected here.
The biggest visible hardware change is memory. The Play Console listing points to 3GB of RAM, up from the 2GB found on previous Pixel Watches. If accurate, this would be the first RAM boost since Google’s wearable lineup debuted, and could help support Gemini experiments that require more on-device storage. Samsung, by comparison, still delivers Galaxy Watch 9 With 2GB of RAM, though it has upgraded processor Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite (SDW6100).
The Play Console listing also includes an image of the Pixel Watch 5 (see above), which matches renders leaked by OnLeaks earlier this month. Those renders show the watch in Dark Anthracite, Natural Silver, Pyrite and Warm Gold colors, with Warm Gold reportedly limited to the smaller 41mm model. Previous leaks have suggested that the watch will come in both 41mm and 45mm sizes with Wi-Fi and LTE options, though buyers may have to put up with a $50 price hike across the line.
