Instagram is introducing one of its most requested features: the ability to manually reorder posts in your profile grid. How to do it.
The network is reorganized, eventually spreading
Last March Instagram added a long-requested option that allows users to reorder images and videos in the carousel after publishing them.
Now the app extends that control to the profile itself with a new option that lets users manually reorder posts on their network.
The feature, which has been in testing for a while, allows users to tap on any photo from the grid on their profile and select “Reorder Grid.”
This opens a new window where users can freely drag and rearrange their images in any order they want.
When they’re done, they can simply tap the back chevron in the top left corner and the changes will be applied to their actual profile.
Instagram’s Threads account he said the feature is “available as of this week”, meaning that not all users can access it yet.
Still, the wait seems to be over for users who have long been asking for this kind of control.
