
In addition to bringing new keyboard and typing improvements in several languages, iOS 27 will add several languages and accents to Apple Translate. Here are the details.
Apple is constantly expanding language support in its ecosystem
A few months ago, Apple Added 11 new languages to App Store Connect for localized metadata. At WWDC26, the company also highlighted a number of improvements aimed at multilingual users, some of which are: iOS 27 keyboard. . . . This includes support for Afrikaans, Guarani, Zulu and several local languages.
Apple Translate also gets a significant language expansion with iOS 27. When the update rolls out later this year, the app will support 30 languages and accents, up from the current 21. Validator.
Below is the full list of languages supported in Apple Translate as of iOS 27 beta 3:
