For example, Apple claims that apps launch up to 30% faster with iOS 27. This statistic is based on tests conducted by Apple on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, comparing app launch speed between a model running iOS 26.4.2 and another model running iOS 27.

All this is very impressive – especially for people who use “old” iPhone models. Apple has fixed enough bugs and made a leap in performance that I think most iPhone users will notice a huge improvement when they install iOS 27 later this year. It’s especially impressive when you consider that Apple made all of these improvements while also improving performance while simultaneously overhauling Siri.

iOS 27 is currently available to developers and public beta users. It will be available to everyone at the end of this fall.
