John Travolta’s directorial debut is now available to stream on Apple TV


Apple TV subscribers can watch now Propeller One Way Night Coachthe film, which not only marks John Travolta’s directorial debut, but is also adapted by the actor from his 1997 children’s novel. Watch the trailer below.

Travolta’s directorial debut debuts on Apple TV

John Travolta’s Propeller One Way Night Coach now available to stream on Apple TV.

The film is based on her 1997 children’s novel of the same name and stars Clark Shotwell, Kelly Eviston-Quinnett, Ella Bleu Travolta and Olga Hoffman. John Travolta (Pulp Fiction, On/Off) is also considered as a narrator.

The film premiered earlier this month at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, where Travolta received a surprise honorary Palme d’Or for lifetime achievement in cinema.

According to Apple TV, here’s the plot of the movie:

Set in the golden age of aviation, young airplane enthusiast Jeff (played by newcomer Clark Shotwell) and his mother (Kelly Eviston-Quinnett) embark on a one-way cross-country odyssey to Hollywood that turns a simple flight into the trip of a lifetime. Between airline meals, glamorous flight attendants (played by Ella Bleu Travolta and Olga Hoffmann), unexpected interruptions, larger-than-life passengers, and a thrilling glimpse into first class, the journey unfolds in moments both magical and unexpected, and sets the course for the boy’s future.
