Minecraft Dungeons 2 has been leaked onlineCourtesy of Nintendo. The game hit the Nintendo eShop yesterday, revealing a release date, price, fresh details, and a selection of new images.
It’s a shame that these details were released ahead of what was planned at the upcoming Xbox showcase. June 7, 2026. Still, the information itself is promising, including a Release date September 29, 2026 and perhaps more surprisingly, a $29.99 price tag. Personally, I think that’s a pretty fair asking price for what already looks like a fun game.
It is interesting that September is already a full month. Be that as it may Control Resonant that supports Xbox Play Anywhereor PlayStation’s Wolverine game, there will be plenty to play. It’s likely that the publishers are trying to get out of the way ahead of GTA 6’s expected release in November, which I’m sure will be in focus at launch.
Back to Minecraft Dungeons 2. The game was leaked not too long agowith details including the code name, Project Spidewood. These leaks came in part from him X0X_LEAK in X (formerly Twitter), which shares details about the game’s parts and expectations.
During the recent Minecraft Live event, I was surprised that we didn’t get more Minecraft Dungeons 2 stuff, unfortunately only gave us a two-minute video detailing the game. This trailer revealed a mysterious new portal called the Deep Dark Portal, featuring an all-new story, new environments, and a new boss.
The game also features couch co-op, something I wish more games included these days. Unfortunately, that’s all we know for now. You can venture online and check out what else has been revealed via the Nintendo eShop listing, but with the page now taken down, I can’t imagine Microsoft is too happy with what was revealed ahead of the Xbox Showcase.
