Earthshine was shot on an iPhone
At this point, some might consider it old news that Artemis II had a crew used iPhone will take photos and videos during their lunar mission earlier this month.
But there aren’t many photos and videos of astronomy for astronomy enthusiasts, including myself.
He said earlier today NASA Artemis account on X Orion shared a stunning video showing Earthshine from the spacecraft.
In the video, astronaut Christina Koch’s face is completely illuminated, illuminated only by sunlight reflected from Earth on the second day of the mission’s flight.
A few seconds later, he turns the camera to show Earth outside the capsule, the iPhone’s reflection faintly visible in the glass.
