We all know the classic Spider-Man theme song, but this summer’s movie is powered by Samsung’s devices and apps created by the film’s Ned Leeds (played by Jacob Batalon).
Samsung wants to rock this summer with the friendly neighborhood webslinger, announces Spidey Tracker powered by Galaxy. The company says it’s looking to “take the narrative beyond the film” with this tacky (I’ll stop the pun) collaboration. The Spidey Tracker is an interactive campaign that users can play to follow Spider-Man’s observations and “engage with the story in real time”.
The tracker will be available online in 35 countries around the world on June 17.
Jeffrey Godsick, executive vice president of Global Partnerships, Sony Pictures Entertainment, said: “Spider-Man has always been a hero defined by his connection to his community. Working with Samsung has helped bring that spirit to life both on and off the screen, integrating the technology people use every day into the world of Spider-Man, while innovating the world of Spider-Man and bringing fun ways for fans.”
Samsung’s campaign with Spider-Man: The New Day doesn’t end with the viewer. In the post, users can share actor appearances and interviews, hidden easter eggs, content drops, and more. highlights the real-world moments he can see. In the film, Samsung says moviegoers will see the “portability” and utility of the Galaxy Z Flip, Fold and Galaxy Watch in Spider-Man: A New Day.
The company claims that users will be able to see Spider-Man appearing in the Experience Store in this campaign. Spider-Man: The New Day hits theaters on July 31st.
Spider-Man, Spider-Man does everything…
Users should pay attention to the Spidey Tracker website tomorrow to start tracking our favorite webslinger. In terms of story, Ned Leeds developed the tracker and appears to be using it on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, as well as the Spider-Man mask on the Galaxy Watch. We’ll have to wait for the movie to see how things work out in the Marvel Universe.
Samsung is acting with this decision and there is no way out how popular it is The Galaxy Z Fold 7 was last year. The Fold 7 has been made lighter and thinner than previous iterations, and Samsung has improved its hinge to withstand hundreds of thousands of folds. If you’re thinking about the Galaxy Watch, the latest series has been updated better health tracking and features to keep users in a state of well-being. Moreover, there was a successful report about the Galaxy Watch fainting spell detection before it happens.
Android Central’s Take
Needless to say, I’m a comic book geek. This is pretty cool. Aside from the comics, if you’ve played the latest Spider-Man games on the PlayStation 5, there’s something like a “tracking” aspect to it. It’s mostly based on social media, and Spider-Man has a huge following there.
