TL;DR
- Reddit users have discovered three new T-Mobile plans — Experience Signature, Experience More, and Experience Beyond — that the carrier is forcing users to transfer to older, older plans.
- Migrating customers will keep their free lines, retain their current tax structure (Tax Inclusive or Tax Exclusive) and get benefits such as a five-year price guarantee and streaming bundles.
- Customers cannot voluntarily select new plans or price sub-tiers, and the changes will automatically appear in billing cycles starting in mid-July.
Update, July 1, 2026 (10:05 a.m. ET): Mobile Report shared an excellent breakdown of the new plans. According to this report, the bottom line has a new Experience Signature Select plan, lower trade-in promo values, and no Apple Plus. In total, T-Mobile has added more than 62 plans for this exodus, which doesn’t sound like a simple feat, but the carrier claims to have canceled 1,100 old plan codes instead.

Original article, July 1, 2026 (4:30 a.m. ET): T-Mobile kicked off a storm this week by killing off a bunch of its old plans and forcing customers to migrate to newer plans. Even Completed the KickBack programadds to the bad news. While the company confirmed the forced migration and notified customers individually, the details of the new plans remain unclear, leaving many customers with questions and doubts. Thankfully, the community has come together to answer your questions better than T-Mobile.
New Experience plans
Reddit user tva_raylan and dessert pot have posted details on the new plans and a clarification note on some key changes. According to them, T-Mobile has created the following new plans:
- Experience Signature
- More TI experience
- Experience outside of TI
Below these plans are sub-tiers A, B, and C (the difference is said to be just price!), as well as Family plans and segmented Military/First Responder and Senior (55+) plans.
Price structure
The pricing structure that is said to apply to some common plans:
| Price (with automatic payment discount) | Practice Signature (A) | More TI experience (A) | More TI experience (B) | Experience outside of TI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price (with automatic payment discount)
only 1 line |
Practice Signature (A)
81 dollars |
More TI experience (A)
90 dollars |
More TI experience (B)
95 dollars |
Experience outside of TI
100 dollars |
| Price (with automatic payment discount)
2 lines |
Practice Signature (A)
142 dollars |
More TI experience (A)
150 dollars |
More TI experience (B)
160 dollars |
Experience outside of TI
170 dollars |
| Price (with automatic payment discount)
Line 3-8 |
Practice Signature (A)
+$31 each |
More TI experience (A)
+$35 each |
More TI experience (B)
+$40 each |
Experience outside of TI
+$45 each |
| Price (with automatic payment discount)
Lines 9-12 |
Practice Signature (A)
+$41 each |
More TI experience (A)
+$45 each |
More TI experience (B)
+$50 each |
Experience outside of TI
+$55 each |
So, for example, if T-Mobile moves you to an Experience Signature (A) for four lines, you can expect to pay $204 per month. Customers will see the change in their next billing cycle starting in mid-July.
Perhaps the only silver lining in the change is that your free lines go to new levels. So, if you count all your lines as paid lines, your total bill may be slightly lower than your previous estimate. For example, if you have five lines (including one free line), your bill will be $204 per month, the same as the four lines in the example above.
Note that there are many more plans that the community has yet to reveal, so this is not an exhaustive list. Also, users don’t have the option to voluntarily move to a specific plan – you’re at the mercy of T-Mobile (based on your previous plan), so you can’t “upgrade” those plans even if you like them.
Benefits and other details
In terms of features, users who migrate are said to receive at least the same benefits as the standard Experience More tier.
Common perks for the plans include a five-year price guarantee, unlimited premium data with 4K streaming, at least 60GB of mobile hotspot, free ad-supported Netflix, $3 Apple TV Plus, at least 15GB of data in Canada and Mexico, and 5GB of high-speed international data.
The Experience More TI tier includes the same promotions as the regular Experience More plan. Meanwhile, the Experience Beyond TI plan increases the hotspot to 250GB, increases the Canada/Mexico share to 30GB, adds free ad-supported Hulu and T-Satellite, and offers the same promotions as the regular Experience Beyond plan.
T-Mobile is also reportedly offering special plan add-ons that emulate old-school features that may be missing from basic plans, such as increased/unlimited hotspot limits, unlimited Canada/Mexico data, and Stateside International calling.
Reddit posts note that your tax regime will not change. If you previously had a Tax Inclusive (TI) plan, you will be transferred to TI plans and similarly to Tax Exclusive (TE) plans. The maximum monthly increase is reportedly $6 per line, though T-Mobile clarified that the average adjustment is $4 per line.
Just to clarify, these details did not come directly from T-Mobile, but from Reddit users. If more details emerge or T-Mobile shares specifics, we’ll let you know. Here are some if you’re looking T-Mobile alternatives for you.
