Philips Hue introduces new table and floor lamps, candle lamp


Philips Hue is expanding its smart lighting catalog with new table and floor lamps, as well as improved candle lamps available to customers.

announced earlier this week, Philips Hue has three new products.

The first two are Play lamps, one for the tables/shelves and one for the floor. These lamps are thin poles with colored LEDs on one side to bounce off the wall and create gradient looks. They support Hue’s most advanced color technology as well as the Hue Sync HDMI box.

Designed to make Hue Entertainment more accessible, the new Play bulbs help extend lighting effects beyond the TV screen, making viewing, gaming and music more engaging.

Whether placed next to the TV, next to the sofa or elsewhere in the room, the lamps provide dynamic lighting effects that synchronize with movies, games and music. Available in multiple form factors and designed for flexible placement, new accessories make it even easier to create synchronized lighting experiences in the home.

The The Philips Hue Table Lamp costs $79.99while The floor lamp is $149.99.

In addition, Hue “Candle” lamps are refreshed. Designed for the E12 socket, these upgraded bulbs offer wider color support, including “full-spectrum daylight technology”, while adding substance and improving energy efficiency. They reached an output of 470 lumens.

It’s the price heavyalthough $59.99 per bulb or $109.99 for a 2-pack.
