Pixel Watch 'Find My Phone' and ECG apps are broken for many

An apparent bug in the Pixel Watch is causing the Find My Phone and ECG apps to not work or crash, leaving both features useless for many.

The Pixel Watch has a lot of features preloaded, but you won’t use every one of them every day. So sometimes bugs can go under the radar for a while. This seems to be happening right now, as two key functions are currently down.

On two Pixel Watch devices, the 41mm Watch 3 and the 45mm Watch 4, we found that Find My Phone is currently not working. When you activate the feature, the splash screen simply pops up before crashing, bringing you back to the watch face. Update 5/30: Google fixed an issue that caused Find My Phone to crash. As we’ve seen on the two Pixel Watch units mentioned in this post, it now works as expected from quick settings and app drawer shortcuts.
