Pocket Casts transitions to the biggest screen in the home. The podcast player launched an Apple TV app today, giving listeners a native way to continue their podcasts from the couch.
Pocket Casts will soon launch on Apple TV along with Android TV
The tvOS app is free, like Pocket Casts on its other platforms. It brings users their podcasts, next queue, history and synchronized playback position.
An episode that starts while commuting can continue on Apple TV at home without having to find the show or go to the right place.
“Same next. Same date. Same location every episode, room to room,” Pocket Casts says in its article announcement. An Android TV version will follow soon after the launch of the new Apple TV app.
Pocket Casts has also been busy with software updates.
