we are considering a lot of wireless headphones at Gizmodo. The ones with the best active noise cancellation; luxury couples; boxes that provide the best value. Nothing could have prepared us Razer’s Kraken Kitty V2 BTA pair of wireless gaming headphones with ears from Sanrio’s popular Cinnamoroll character.
The $140 gaming headset is the latest collaboration between Razer and Sanrio. Razer has already sold Hello Kitty and Kuromi versions of the Kraken Kitty V2, and now there’s a model with cute puppy ears. (Fun fact: I found out today that Kuromi is a rabbit, not a cat. Wow.)
Wireless headphones are not disposable – they are a whole piece Cinnamoroll themed collection that includes Iskur V2 X Newgen gaming chair ($450), a Kraken V4 X Wired Gaming Headset ($110), moment Ornata V3 Keyless mechanical keyboard ($120) and a Cobra & Gigantus V2 M Bundle ($100) this includes a wired gaming mouse (with RGB of course) and a mat.
I’m not saying the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT’s 40mm drivers, noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.2, and “pure skin” headphones aren’t great, but honestly, you can’t buy these boxes or any of the gadgets in this collection to improve your gaming performance. You buy it either because you’re a huge fan of Cinnamoroll or because you want to make your setup kawaii.
Somewhere, there’s a Cinnamoroll die-hard that Christmas just came early. More realistically, these chairs will probably debut on the Twitch channel. Someone’s got to lean on all the amateur streamers and their generic Secretlab chairs, right?
