If it were to launch for the same sticker price as the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at $1,099, there might be enough improvements to justify the purchase. After all, a new processor and exclusive software additions are guaranteed. This may be wishful thinking, though.
We just saw Motorola raise the prices of their flip phones, and Samsung raised the price of both Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus earlier this year. Given the precedent, I’m assuming the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will be more expensive until proven otherwise. To be clear, I hope I’m wrong. reports from Korean news outlets such as Newspim same offer.
