Silo season 3 has received an Apple TV release date and first trailer


There is an Apple TV just announced the return of one of the biggest sci-fi hits: Silo Season 3 is coming this summer.

There’s no shortage of top-notch sci-fi shows on Apple TV, and one of the streamer’s popular hits, Silo, is set to return soon.

Silo will premiere its 3rd season Friday, July 3 with its first episode, followed by weekly releases until September 4.

The highly anticipated comeback will bring a total of 10 new episodes and serve as the penultimate season. It’s season 4 now is well on its way to complete.

Here’s Apple’s official season 3 synopsis, and then first teaser trailer:

The third season of Silo continues the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious conditions, while revealing an origin story set centuries ago. In the present, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) survives a forced “cleansing” but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from the mutiny and faces a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in Before Time, journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zuckerman) uncover a conspiracy that drags them into a chain of events with disastrous, irreversible consequences.

Silo is based on a trilogy of popular novels By Hugh Howey. Seasons 1 and 2 covered the first title of the trilogy, while seasons 3 and 4 will pick up the events of books 2 and 3.
