Snapseed Camera on Android adds grid lines and levels


From the big year 4.0 release In May, Snapseed for Android fixes bugs by adding more Camera UI customization with the latest update.

Launching Snapseed Camera and tapping the settings button in the top right corner gives you access to new options.

In recent releases, Google cleaned up the Color Theme picker and added small previews for Editor, Twilight, Negative, Street, Fog, and Depth.

Snapseed 4.0.8 introduces Gridlines that let you choose between Rule of Thirds, 2×2, and Golden Ratio, with the default setting being none.

By default, the level is activated after updating with three elements: Flat-Lay, Horizon and Tilt.

In the iOS version, Snapseed also supports Location Metadata and Formatting. Hopefully these two options will come to Android in the future.

Snapseed 4.0.8 is still rolling out via the Play Store today. Version 4.0.1 Introduced a home screen app shortcut to instantly launch Camera for Android. A bigger update in the future will expand Snapseed’s RAW support.
