This cool little project comes to us via MoutainSnow (sic). Claude Code subreddit to show. They say they’ve seen other people turn their Moonside LED bulbs into Claude Code color-coded status indicators in the past and wanted to try it themselves. From the looks of the video, I’d say they did a great job.

There are a few caveats to this project. First, it only works with Moonside lamps, Halo is the best choice. The developer says it should “work with One, Aurora, Lighthouse, etc.,” but that doesn’t feel like much of a guarantee. Also, the project page lists compatible OSes as “macOS (BLE via CoreBluetooth)”, so if you’re on Windows or Linux, you’re out of luck. Regardless, it’s a really cool little project and a great way to keep an eye on Claude.
